Get ready to pack your bags, because the future of the FIRST Championship is looking bright! We just received some incredible news regarding the venue for our biggest event of the year. FIRST has officially announced that the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, will remain the home of the FIRST Championship through the year 2034! Source. This means our community has a decade of excitement, high-stakes competition, and amazing celebrations locked in at the same iconic location. This is a huge win for students and teams everywhere who dream of making that trip to Houston to compete at the highest level. Previously, the partnership was set through 2027, but after a deep dive into future planning, FIRST has extended that commitment by another seven seasons. This stability is awesome for teams like ours as we plan our long-term goals and dream big about where we want to be in the coming years. We can’t wait to see what the next decade of innovation brings to the Houston stage!
