Big news is coming to the world of FIRST! We are getting a sneak peek at the 2026-2027 season, which is officially titled FIRST® CANOPY™. This upcoming season is all about engineering a thriving planet, with challenges centered around the incredible world of biodiversity. Whether you are working on FLL or other programs, get ready to dive deep into how technology and nature work together to keep our world healthy and vibrant! Read more about the upcoming season here. Many of our students love these themes because they allow us to use our engineering skills to solve real-world environmental problems. It is not just about building robots; it is about understanding the ecosystems that support us all. Along with this exciting new theme, FIRST is also rolling out some updates to how teams get their gear. They are introducing a refreshed FIRST Dashboard and a brand-new storefront experience to make purchasing and registration smoother for teams and educators. This means less time clicking through menus and more time building amazing things! We can’t wait to see how our students tackle these new biodiversity challenges.
