In 2021, a spark ignited in Brown County. Two small robotics teams, driven by a shared vision, joined forces to create something bigger than themselves. They saw a need for a robust robotics program in their community, a place where students could explore STEM, ignite their creativity, and build a future filled with possibility. And so, Brown County FIRST Robotics was born.
With the support of Lakeshore FIRST Robotics, a well-established organization, we laid the foundation for our non-profit. We started with just 14 students, eager to learn and explore the world of robotics. Fast forward to 2024, and our program has exploded! We’ve grown to over 200 K-12 students, a testament to the passion and dedication of our community.
Today, Brown County FIRST Robotics is not just participating in competitions, we’re hosting our own regional events, inspiring even more young minds to embrace STEM. But we’re not stopping there.
Our Vision for the Future
We believe every student, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to experience the thrill of robotics. We’re committed to making our program accessible and affordable, breaking down barriers and opening doors to a world of innovation.
